My Assertion

Eric is my in-house hippy-liberal consultant. I had this thought and I put it by him. I said, "Conservatives seem to tend to think that the impetus for proper (read: Lawful) action comes from within. This for actions entirely with the individual. Liberals on the other hand believe that the motivation for proper action of an individual comes from without, meaning that the environment of the individual is largely responsible for the
actions of that individual."

He said he agreed with that. I think that's fascinating.
